The book is very well organized and has an extensive set of indexes which make finding a particular war or conflict very simple. To buy this book, click here.     Dictionary of Wars, by George Kohn is a great resource for anyone wanting information on individual wars from the beginning of recorded history through the end of the 20th century. This is a major resource for the History Guy when he goes about creating web pages on wars and military history. This book gets four swords as a handy resource. I wish this book was as complete as the Dupuy Brothers' Encyclopedia of Military History, which Kohn himself used as a resource.
