The
Scourge of God: A Novel of the Change (Change
Series)

chronicling the further adventures of Rudi Artos
MacKenzie as he continues his quest with his
Fellowship of the Sword. Anyone who likes Stirling's
books, or enjoys alternate history will enjoy this
book. Read the Full

in Stirling's History Guy loved reading this book and
gives The Scourge of God a grade of five swords. To

The
Harper Encyclopedia of Military History: From 3500
B.C. to the Present --By
R. Ernest Dupuy and Trevor N. Dupuy. Anyone who enjoys
military history will love this authoritative volume.
The History Guy makes extensive use of this book to
create web pages on military history. The book is very
well organized and has an extensive set of indexes
which make finding a particular war or conflict very
simple. The History Guy give this book the maximum
number of swords (five) for excellence! To buy this
book, click here.

Dictionary
of Wars ,
by George Kohn is a great resource for anyone wanting
information on individual wars from the beginning of
recorded history through the end of the 20th century.
This is a major resource for the History Guy when he
goes about creating web pages on wars
and military
history. This book gets four swords as a handy
resource. I wish this book was as complete as the
Dupuy Brothers' Encyclopedia of Military History,
which Kohn himself used as a resource. However, The
Dictionary of Wars details more recent wars than other
similar books and is very easy to use when looking up
wars by name or by the nation involved. To buy this
book, click here.
